Sit Alone in Silence and do NOTHING
Take some time to sit alone, in solitude and just practice being present. Don't try to meditate, don't attempt to make yourself feel a certain way, don't judge the thoughts that move across your mind. Simple sit and notice your body, the way your breath feels, the noises or lack thereof around you. Keep sitting when you begin to get the urge to move. Keep sitting when your mind starts to tell you that this is a waste of time. Keep sitting and observing as your mind begins to offer you reason after reason as to why you should stand up and do something else. Is this difficult? Do you feel uncomfortable? Notice how *doing nothing*, is in fact an active *doing*. Feel how the restless energy in your body and mind surge within you. Notice how this restlessness drives you throughout the day, how it robs your inner peace, how it diminishes your power. In stillness we find great strength, practice being present in stillness to tap into yours.
